Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassionate fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentation 3:22-23.
Almighty God, whose mercies are new every morning and whose presence sustains me through the day, I seek to glorify You in all that I do and say. You provide me with strength for the day, guidance for my decisions, vision for the way, courage in adversary, unfailing empathy, and unlimited love.
You have promised to never leave nor forsake me, and You have said You will never require more of me than You enable me to accomplish. I want to dedicate this day to discerning and doing Your will. I give You my mind; think Your thoughts in it. I give You my heart; express Your love and encouragement through it. And I give You my voice speak Your truth through it. Thank You dear God, for Your continual faithfulness to me. May Your attribute become my attitude. When this day is done, my hope is that I will have been faithful and true servant in Jesus Name Amen.
