Almighty God, You are a very present help in trouble. Today, I want to remember all the times You have helped me in trouble. I am quick to cry out to You for help, but I am slow to remember the countless times You intervened to meet my deepest needs. Especially I remember the intense needs and pressure of the family’s financial problems and the health challenges of some members of the family. Thank You, Lord. I sense a new confidence steering in my heart. I can say, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me”
Psalm 138:7. When I think of troubles I am facing right now, the psalmist again gives wings to my thoughts: “Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to You. Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble; incline Your ear to me; in the day that I call, answer me speedily” Psalm 102:1-2. Bring to my mind the people I know who are troubled or are confronted with adversity. I name them and their needs one by one. Do for them what You have done for me repeatedly. For Your glory, resolve problems, give guidance, provide strength. Lord, I am also aware of some problems You won’t solve until I am ready to be used by You in working out the solutions. Sometimes You wait until I am ready to be part of the miracle You want to perform. Show me what You want me to do. I will leave the results to You. Thank You Lord in Jesus Name i pray Amen. Shalom.
